Lula kebab with Cabbage salad, pita & Greek yogurt sauce


  • 0.5 kg ground veal
  • 0.5 kg ground pork
  • 1 large  onion, very finely chopped in the blender
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


Using your hands, slightly mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
Gently form a log-shaped kebabs about 8″ long each and pin a wood brochette through it. Put kebabs on the grill, turning twice, until grill marks appear and meat feels firm, 8 minutes total. Fast, Easy and Yummy!

Cabbage salad & Greek yogurt sauce


  • salt, black pepper
  • olive oil 1 tsp
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • lime(lemon) juice

In a small bowl, mix together lime juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. In a large bowl, mix together cabbage, carrots and dressing.
For the Sauce, mix together Greek yogurt,  1 garlic glove finally chopped, lime juice, dill, salt and pepper.  Add a slice of pita.
